Terry Mendez, our sales engineer and project manager for Latin American and the Caribbean, recently worked with Latercer SAC, a growing brick maker based in Lima, Peru.
Latercer purchased a used, refurbished Steele 75 extrusion line for several hollow products — King Kong, Techo 12, Techo 15 and Pandereta.
The extruded products have a penetrometer reading of 3 for direct setting on the kiln cars, with handling by cutter machine and setting robot. King Kong units are running at 30 MPTH and we’re working with Latercer to set up the balance of their products.
Our rebuilt machines have the same warranty as our new machines and we support them with parts and service. In fact, Steele global resources for tooling, engineering and manufacturing come with every machine we sell, whether it’s built to order or has been disassembled and rebuilt in our Statesville, North Carolina factory.
You can see our inventory of available used equipment here.
If you’re running brick in Latin America or the Caribbean, you need to talk to Terry Mendez, our project manager and sales engineer for the region. You can contact him at tmendez@jcsteele.com.
