Steele crushers improve bulk raw material preparation, for better mix quality and homogenous blending. They deliver consistent output of small particles (one inch or below), eliminating overloads on secondary crushing machines and lowering maintenance costs.

Ductile iron discs mounted on an 8-inch square shaft form our crushing rolls, with steel alloy teeth designed for easy removal (you can specify teeth for production requirements).

Built to last

Like all Steele machines, our primary crushers are built for decades of service — supported by our global service and parts network. We make primary frames with heavy ductile iron castings and use oversized gearboxes with high thermal ratings for a longer service life.

Roll shafts allow for roll space adjustment to change output size or adjust for wear. An integral system monitors torsional loading on roller shafts and bending loads on the crushing rolls, to shut down motors when it detects overloads.
