During a recent trip to India, Mac Steele and David Canavan, Steele’s ferro alloys specialist, formalized the company’s relationship with Green Sustainability Services Pvt Ltd. (GSS).
David Canavan takes the point on green steel — “If your process generates dust, we can help.”
David joined Steele in 2023 as a ferro alloys and battery specialist. He’s charged with building on our momentum in green steel and developing relationships in the growing battery industry.

Mark joined Steele late in October 2020 and we keep him busy. A former assistant professor of geology at Texas A&M (Kingsville) and veteran geologic consultant, he specializes in geochemistry, characterization of rocks and engineered materials, and mining and mineral resources.
